Our Story
AFRELD was started by Emmanuel Lieta Okongo, an entrepreneur from Homa Bay who grew up around farming and saw the struggles local farmers faced — poor prices, limited tools, and no support.
After working across Kenya and abroad, Emmanuel launched AFRELD to close that gap — giving farmers access to fair markets, organic inputs, and modern technology.
What began as a small, farmer-led effort has grown into a regional company known for quality, fairness, and innovation.
Today, AFRELD supports over 300 farmers and continues to bridge the gap between local growers and growing demand for clean, sustainable food.
